Additional Funds: XR Hub Würzburg's Funding Breaches 2.5 Million Euros

With an additional funding of 760,000 euros, the Bavarian Digital Ministry under Fabian Mehring has pushed the public budget for XR Hub Würzburg to 2.5 million euros until 2026. The newest cheque was presented at University of Würzburg's Summer Expo.

At yesterday’s Summer Expo at the University of Würzburg in Franconia, the state of Bavaria presented a new funding check to the region’s premier XR venue: Digital Minister Fabian Mehring presented a cheque of 759,903 euros to the XR Hub Würzburg. 200,000 euros of this additional funding comes from a parliamentary initiative by Freie Wähler and CSU, while the rest stems from Digital Ministry funds. All in all, the Digital Ministry is funding the XR Hub Würzburg with 2.5 million euros until 2026.
