Just a good Cop

The Precinct

Inspired by '80s cop movies, The Precinct from Fallen Tree Games and Kwalee lets players go on a crime hunt in a neon noir sandbox city. The top-down perspective is reminiscent of early GTA games, but it's also about doing the right thing as a cop.

The Precinct Fallen Tree Games and Kwalee

The starting point for The Precinct was American Fugitive (2019), the previous game from British indie studio Fallen Tree Games. The top-down sandbox game put players in the role of a criminal on the run from the law. Soon after, they came up with the idea for their next game, which would be set on the other side, from the perspective of a cop. The idea for The Precinct was born. It's a single-player, top-down, open-world, arcade-action police game with simulation elements - a kind of classic 80s cop movie with an interactive sandbox, set in a fictional US metropolis called Averno City, where other, somewhat clichéd cops also do their duty.
