The [THQ Nordic](/company/thq-nordic) Digital Showcase 2025 was streamed last night. The 30-minute showcase was packed with announcements, with no moderator or breaks. It kicked off with SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide, which is coming to PC, PS5, Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S. In this new single-player 3D platform adventure, SpongeBob and Patrick must battle a ghostly threat. The game is once again being developed by [Purple Lamp](/company/purple-lamp) in Vienna and is scheduled for release on 18 November 2025. This was followed by Wreckreation from Three Fields Entertainment, the open-world racing sandbox game that was previously announced, and Tides of Tomorrow from Digixart (Road 96), a survival adventure in which the choices of friends and favourite streamers play an important role. The latter is set to launch on 24 February 2026 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. Next up is Wreckfest 2 from Bugbear Entertainment in Finland, which is currently available via Early Access.

The unveiling of Sacred 2 Remaster for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S (Q4 2025) followed, featuring high-resolution textures, enhanced combat, a modern UI, full controller support and bug fixes. The remaster is being developed by SparklingBit, a German game development studio founded by the original creators of the acclaimed Sacred series. Funatics and Jumpgate are also involved. After that, the Cyprus-based game development studio Weappy presented the hand-drawn 2D platformer The Eternal Life of Goldman, which will be released for PC, PS5, Switch and Xbox Series X|S. Then it was time for the [Early Access shadow drop](https://www.gamesmarket.global/games-and-products/shadow-drop-thq-nordic-releases-titan-quest-ii-as-a-shadow-drop-in-early-access-60c6bafa28443dca1acbc860ea59466f) of [Titan Quest II](/game/titan-quest-ii). The action RPG, developed by [Grimlore Games](/company/grimlore-games), had over 16,000 concurrent users on Steam just a few hours after its release.

Another new game announced was The Guild - Europa 1410 from Ashborne Games in Brno, Czech Republic (developers of Last Train Home). This strategy role-playing game sees players building their dynasty from humble craftsmen to powerful politicians in the Middle Ages. Features include trade, intrigue, relationships and politics, with up to 12 players in multiplayer mode.

Then it was the turn of the Gothic franchise. New gameplay footage of the Gothic 1 Remake was presented, and the [Nyras Prologue demo](https://store.steampowered.com/app/3448280/Gothic_1_Remake__Demo_Nyras_Prologue/) was released on [PlayStation 5](https://thqn.net/g1rd-psn) and [Xbox Series X|S](https://www.xbox.com/de-de/games/store/gothic-1-remake-demo/9p4zkbwblq0m). The remake is scheduled for release in early 2026. On the subject of consoles, Gothic Classic, Gothic II Complete Classic and Gothic 3 Classic will also be released for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2026.

Reanimal, a co-op horror game developed by Tarsier Studios, the creators of Little Nightmares, about two siblings on a nightmarish island, is set to launch in Q1 2026 on PC, PS5, Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S. A Collector's Edition has also been announced. Another new game was announced: Fatekeeper, a new role-playing game from Paraglacial, a new studio comprising former Grimlore Games developers and currently employing only ten people. "Venture into a handcrafted world where ruins whisper of past cataclysms. Master the art of sword and sorcery and forge your path with relics, spells and choices that shape who you become in this first-person RPG," writes the publisher. It is scheduled for release in Early Access this winter.

Last but not least, the development of Darksiders 4 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S was finally confirmed, with the game once again being developed by Gunfire Games. The saga of the Four Horsemen continues in this all-new action-adventure game, which is set in an apocalyptic version of Earth and picks up where the original Darksiders game left off.

There was also a preshow hosted by Amplifier Studios, featuring Neighbors: Suburban Warfare, Nitro Gen Omega, Locomoto, Squirreled Away, Lightyear Frontier and Shadowveil: Legends of the Five Rings.
