At yesterday's meeting, the XR funding committee of the FFF Bayern recommended funding for a total of ten projects. Six of the projects are in the development phase and four in the production phase.

In addition to film production and game development, Bavaria also supports productions in the field of Xtended Reality through the FFF Bayern. The relevant committee, which includes experts, met yesterday and ultimately recommended funding for a total of ten projects. The cumulative funding volume for all projects amounts to 391,000 euros.

More than half of the money is to be used to support four projects that are currently in production. These are Eddie and I by Reynard Films, which is to receive 100,000 euros, Frequencies and Dance by Govar (50,000 euros), "Becky and Holgi in Zahnland" by MedienLB (35,000 euros) and Blicked Under Ground - 3D Audiowalk by Regine Elbers (26,000 euros).

The other six projects that have been recommended for funding are still in the development phase and are therefore eligible for funding for concepts or prototypes. They are: The Goat by Family Business Film (€30,000) EDN.Beta - Everybody Dance Now by Kevin Fuchs - Visual Vitamin (€30,000) Emergence in Nature (working title) by We are Video (€30,000) Particles - An interactive exploration of musical structures by Steffen Wick (€30,000) to the other side (working title) by mYndstorm productions (€30,000) Virtual X-ray training in dentistry (working title) by QM Interactive (€30,000)

The next meeting of the FFF Bayern XR allocation committee will take place on 3 December. Applications can be submitted from 7 to 21 October.
