Mirlach, Szymanski and Arslan set up Marketing Agency Second Stage
Matthias Mirlach, Christian Szymanski and Egemen Arslan have founded Second Stage, a new marketing agency offering marketing intelligence solutions for games companies and the gaming market. A self-service advertising platform is also in development.
The newly formed marketing agency Second Stage is explicitly targeting publishers, developers, agencies and brands with its range of digital marketing solutions. Second Stage's core offering is the "Marketing Suite", which integrates business intelligence with media and marketing strategy. Second Stage uses data-driven insights to create targeted strategies and manage campaigns across multiple audiences. In addition, Second Stage is introducing "Gateway", a self-service advertising platform currently in development and due to launch later this year. It will "revolutionise the way advertisers, brands and agencies connect with the global gaming audience", the company claims.
Headquartered in Berlin, Second Stage was founded by gaming and media industry veterans Christian Szymanski, Matthias Mirlach and Egemen Arslan and works with global clients. Szymanski is an entrepreneur with a passion for gaming and marketing. Prior to founding Second Strike, he was CEO of ComboStrike and nevaly. He has orchestrated campaigns across European and North American markets for clients such as Sega, Tencent and Plaion. Matthias Mirlach is a marketing and communications professional with over 20 years of experience in the digital entertainment and video games industry. Prior to co-founding Second Stage, he worked for publishers such as Capcom, Codemasters and Xbox and with clients such as Sega and Tencent. Egemen Arslan is a media professional with leadership experience in agencies and start-ups. He previously worked at ComboStrike for more than five years, including as head of strategy.
