From now on, creatives can apply for a grant from Unity as part of the Unity for Humanity program. For the first time, there is also a category for student projects.

The Unity for Humanity program is open to all categories of the creative industries, so it is not limited to games. Creatives who use Unity to realize their projects can apply for a grant until February 7. This year, a total of $500,000 is available in funding. To be eligible for support, the projects must pursue goals that are in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

At the same time as the launch of the submission process, Unity has announced a number of changes. For example, applicants can now receive feedback on their applications if they wish. However, Unity asks for understanding that it may take a few weeks for the team to get to it.

There is a significant change in the categories. For example, Unity has also introduced a category for students for the first time.
