Audentes Fortuna Iuvat, Fortune Favours the Brave - this was the slogan used by [Plaion](/company/plaion) to announce the sequel to the medieval action role-playing game Kingdom Come: Deliverance. It is a true sequel to its predecessor, but has been designed and written to appeal to both newcomers and longtime fans alike. 

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II picks up where its predecessor left off, putting players in the shoes of Henry, the son of a blacksmith, as he becomes embroiled in a tale of revenge, betrayal and self-discovery in 15th century Central Europe. On two new maps, twice the size of the previous game, players can explore a medieval Bohemian world with the famous Trosky Castle, and visit an urban environment of the silver mining town of Kuttenberg - a true Unesco World Heritage site. The game is, at its core, a role-playing experience where players can take multiple paths to quests, develop Henry in any way they choose, and immerse themselves in a lively world with over five hours of cutscenes telling the story of Henry's journey. The combat system has also been reworked to make it more accessible while remaining true to its nature, from swordplay to ranged attacks such as the newly added crossbows or early gunpowder weapons.

Warhorse Studios, a Plaion company, is developing the game. [Kingdom Come: Deliverance](/game/kingdom-come-deliverance) was released on 13 February 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, selling over six million copies, with the Switch version recently released in March 2024. Plaion will publish Kingdom Come: Deliverance II for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S later this year.
