Chimera Entertainment Plans to Continue Expanding Songs of Silence

In a roadmap update, the Munich-based company has explained its future plans for Songs of Silence. In the fourth quarter, the multiplayer mode will be improved with the addition of a new matchmaking lobby for skirmishes, faction tutorials for all existing factions, a spectator mode for skirmishes, and a friend pass to invite friends to join skirmishes (PC only). The latter feature is typically found in co-op titles, enabling two players to access a purchased copy. A second DLC is scheduled for release in winter 2025, featuring a standalone campaign separate from the main campaign. This will feature a new playable faction with new units and hero classes for new skirmish strategies, as well as new cards for the strategy map and battles.
