German organisation against sexism in the games industry Game:in has held their yearly gamescom week gathering on yesterday’s Monday. The event was held in front of a full house at gaming bar Lost Level, just like the year before. 

During the reception, game:in looked back on their first year [as a registered association](https://www.gamesmarket.global/business/ev-gamein-now-officially-registered-as-association-9f6d0bb9bf04d34d39c40dcedb2844a9) (“eingetragener Verein”), event cooperations like them leading the safety desk at caggtus 2025 in Leipzig, their own talk event series and more. The group also encouraged to speak up against sexism and help others be safe during gamescom. 

game:in especially took care to set a good example and keep their own event safe. While there where sponsored drinks for all guests, drink selection was strictly non-alcoholic. The gathering was also a closed event. At the networking event after the reception through co-founder Lena Laaser, the guests from all walks of development, media, content creation and publishing were invited to connect.
