Lost in Cult Enters Physical Video Game Publishing

As a counterpoint to the increasingly digital marketing of games, British creatives Lost in Cult will release three video games in physical format for the first time. Further releases are planned, primarily aimed at collectors, under a curated label. It's uncertain when the products will reach stores in GSA.

Lost In Cult are the creatives behind the Design Works series of art books. Now they are trying it with video games. Three well-known video games are being released on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch to mark the launch of their new label, Lost in Cult. What makes them special is that they are physical versions with all the game data stored on the disc. No online update is necessary. This is intended to appeal to collectors in particular. This is another reason why each of the three titles is available in two versions. One is a higher-volume version for the masses. The other is a strictly limited edition, of which the company says there will usually be between 1,500 and 5,000 units.
