The German Computer Game Award (DCP) will be granted next week. The excitement is building, even among Minister of State Dr Fabian Mehring of the Bavarian State Ministry for Digital Affairs. It will be his first DCP as minister. "I am proud that the German Computer Game Award is being presented in Munich again this year and that our Bavarian games industry is making a major contribution. Games are the Formula 1 of digitalisation and Bavarian developers are at the forefront of shaping social change and digital transformation. This is also reflected in the fact that two of the three nominees for Studio of the Year come from Bavaria. I keep my fingers crossed for all the nominees and look forward to an exciting awards ceremony." The nominees for Studio of the Year are Aesir Interactive from Munich, Pixel Maniacs from Nuremberg and Playing History from Berlin.
