Two Thirds of Job Listings Looking for Game Dev Skills Come From Other Industries

The German Economic Institute (Institut der deutschen Wirtschaft) has released an evaluation of almost 5.000 job offerings from 2024 that list games industry job specifications. The evaluation sees that 64 per cent of job offerings that look for game-development specific skills are not coming from inside the games industry, but from other economy branches like the automotive industry, consulting, architecture and IT.
