The gamescom 2024 has been the most successful fair ever for game music label and shop Black Screen Records (BSR). The label has made almost double the revenue compared to 2023 with their booth in Hall 5.2, BSR CEO Kevin Schulz has shared with GamesMarkt. 

A special success was the cooperation with Erik “Gronkh” Ranges shop GRNK, which took over part of the booth with merch and a special cooperation vinyl soundtrack. The Gronkh vinyl itself was the most sold product at the BSR booth and generated the most revenue, followed in revenue by the soundtracks of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Minecraft, Shadows Calling (Music from Hunt: Showdown), GabAnime's "Anime on Piano Vol. 1", Stardew Valley, Hollow Knight and the Final Fantasy XIV Vinyl Box Set.

Apart from the cooperation with GRNK, the BSR booth had a special cooperation with the Indie Arena Booth in Hall 10.2. The first 100 sales each day at the BSR booth received the Indie Arena Booth vinyl for free. Every day, the allotment of IAB vinyls has been completely given away before 12 o’clock, Schulz says.
