Time-Limited Free to Claim as a Launch Strategy for a Multiplayer Game
Nubs! Arena, a fast-paced top-down PvP combat game from Rangatang (Netherlands) and Glowfish (Belgium), will be released on 15 May 2025 and will be available for free for the first 24 hours. We spoke to Rangatang co-founder Olivier Thijssen about this strategy, how they plan to monetise the game afterwards, and how it all came together.
Nubs! Arena is Rangatang's first game, but there are some familiar faces behind the title: Former employees of Ronimo Games, known for Awesomenauts, Swords and Soldiers and Blightbound, are working on this project with Glowfish Interactive, a studio from Belgium, due to the current difficult financial situation.
