The Esports Industry Dialogue is taking place today at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action in Berlin. Michael Kellner, Parliamentary State Secretary and Federal Government Commissioner for the Cultural and Creative Industries, has invited 50 representatives from organisers, teams, publishers, the voluntary sector, science and associations. They will discuss the challenges of the current market environment, Germany's role as a global centre for esports and the opportunities esports offer society. The much-discussed non-profit status of esports may also be a topic at this roundtable (GamesMarkt reported).
