Elisabeth Secker, Managing Director of the USK: ‘Families want more help in guiding their children in the digital world. As the USK, we have been involved in media education for many years with initiatives such as the Parents' Guide and Elternguide.online. We would now like to consolidate and expand this commitment with the newly created position. Melanie Endler not only has extensive knowledge in the field of media education thanks to her many years of work at fragFINN, but also brings with her the valuable perspective of children for safe participation. We look forward to working with her to further develop the USK's commitment in this area.’

Melanie Endler, Media Education and Cooperations Officer: ‘I am very much looking forward to my new role at the USK. In this role, I would like to actively contribute to strengthening the safe participation of children and young people in the digital space, especially in the area of digital games. This position offers a valuable opportunity to work together with the network partners in child and youth media protection to advance these goals and strengthen the media literacy of the next generation.’
