Blaze Entertainment and SNK Strike NeoGeo License Agreement
Blaze Entertainment will release a range of retro gaming products based on the NeoGeo platform over the next two years. The creators of Evercade and HyperMegaTech! have finalised this agreement with former NeoGeo publisher SNK.
In the first quarter of 2025, Blaze Entertainment will host a showcase to provide updates on which games and products will emerge from this newly established partnership. What has already been confirmed is that various games and products from the NeoGeo arcade and home console systems will be released as retro products in 2025 and 2026.
Blaze Entertainment is known for its Evercade product family, which includes both stationary and portable retro gaming hardware. The Evercade platform boasts a library of over 60 cartridges, featuring more than 500 officially licensed games spanning five decades of gaming history. These include titles from home consoles, home computers, modern-retro indie developers, and arcade systems. Additionally, Blaze Entertainment also operates under the HyperMegaTech! brand, releasing retro hardware products preloaded with a curated selection of games.
"This partnership with SNK is a milestone moment for Blaze. These games represent some of the most iconic and innovative titles in gaming history, and to bring them to our family of products is a privilege," said Blaze Entertainment Ltd CEO, Andrew Byatt. "This partnership isn't just about adding great games; it's about celebrating the artistry and legacy of Neogeo in a way that's accessible to fans old and new. We’re thrilled to give these classics a new platform in 2025."
