Federal funding for Sky-E Red Games, K5 Factory and Frodo Games
Almost 2.4 million euros from the German government's computer games funding programme are going to Sky-E Red, K5 Factory and Frodo Games. While K5 Factory will get around one million euros for its VR Oktoberfest game, Sky-E Red Games will receive 1.32 million euros for the development of a monster-hunting game.
Three more games projects get funding from the federal government's computer games funding programme. 1,317,855 euros will go to Sky-E Red. The company from Rüsselsheim in the state of Hesse is working on "Battle Frontier". The start-up's first game is described as a monster-hunting experience: "Battle Frontier is a fresh and varied monster hunting experience with a twist. Challenge, rescue and train countless mysterious BattleBeasts - and learn to merge with them. Master their powers to gain an advantage in the numerous online multiplayer competitions. The company Sky-E Red consists of the games start-up and the IT consulting firm Sky-E Red Technology, which focuses on cloud computing.
