Field of Glory: Kingdoms

In Field of Glory: Kingdoms it is up to the player to lead their dynasty to glory through a mixture of warfare, trade, diplomacy and ruthless cunning. Compared to its predecessor, Field of Glory: Empires, the playable time period has been expanded. With a main campaign spanning 220 years, players do not play as a single character, but as a dynasty. This comes with a family tree of relatives, who will need to be married off, bought off, sent off to war, or even killed off. Like its predecessor, there will be mechanisms to prevent that the most powerful empires simply cannot be caught. The tension between conquering more territory to increase power and developing the authority needed to control such lands is one of the most fundamental decisions.
