Kingdom Come: Deliverance II continues to sell like hot cakes. In less than two weeks, the medieval role-playing game has sold over two million copies. The game reached the one million mark in less than 24 hours. On 9 February, a new record was set for publisher Plaion with 256,206 CCU on Steam.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Sells Over One Million Units in 24 Hours
Released on 4 February 2021, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is a success for developer Warhorse Studios and publisher Plaion. According to the Czech studio, the game sold over a million copies in its first 24 hours.
The role-playing game is also doing very well on Steam, reaching a CCU peak of 176,285 last night. Its predecessor's CCU peak was 96,069. No other game from Plaion and its labels Deep Silver and Prime Matter had a higher CCU peak on Steam. Payday 3 reached a maximum of 77,938 concurrent users in 2023.
The first game was released on 13 February 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, with the Switch version (ported by Saber Interactive) recently released in March 2024. As of November 2024, the first game has sold over eight million copies to date. Just one year after the release of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Koch Media bought the studio for €42.8 million, including all rights to the Kingdom Come brand. The studio has grown substantially since the first instalment, from 131 full-time employees in 2018/2019 to around 250 by April 2024.
