1SP Agency Acquires MeetToMatch Reportedly
The matchmaking tool MeetToMatch, used by many events, apparently has a new owner. As reported by Game Developer, the German agency 1SP is buying the Dutch company.
Game Developer did not provide any details about the price. However, the magazine spoke with both 1SP co-founder and co-CEO Torsten Oppermann and MeetToMatch founder and CEO Fedor van Herpen. According to the report, the acquisition will not only enable faster scaling and global expansion, but also open up new opportunities beyond the boundaries of the video game industry. In the short term, 1SP wants to help accelerate feature releases to improve CRM capabilities. In the long term, Oppermann reveals to Game Developer, MeetToMatch is set to become the preferred platform for professional matchmaking for onsite, virtual and hybrid events.
