Red Bull Launches Global Tetris Tournament With Final in Dubai
To mark the self-declared World Tetris Day, Red Bull has launched qualifications for its own innovative global Tetris tournament, in cooperation with The Tetris Company. The final is set to take place in Dubai in December, featuring live Tetris in the sky with around 2,000 drones.
The final tournament is scheduled for 11 to 13 December in Dubai, with numerous qualifying rounds taking place beforehand. Participation is open to players from 55 countries and will be conducted via smartphone on the RedBullTetris website. Depending on the country, national qualifying tournaments will determine who advances to the grand final in Dubai.
