Game Regional Representation in Baden-Württemberg Develops to an Association
Since 2018, the games industry in Baden-Württemberg has been organized as a regional representative of game in order to successfully promote issues at the state level. Now, there is a desire to strengthen this commitment, which requires its own association structure, which has now been established.
However, the founding of the Games Baden-Württemberg association does not mean that the games industry in Germany's southwesternmost state is breaking away from the industry association game. On the contrary: the new association is being created directly from the regional representation of game and will also be led by the previous spokespersons, Tom Burck from Gameforge and Laura Körting from LAB132. Steffen Schmidt, who heads the Center for E-Sports at KIT in Karlsruhe, will take over as third chair.
