Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg is providing €3.8 million in funding for 25 games, XR and serial format projects. A total of ten game projects will receive funding totalling just under €1.1 million, including those from Torpor Games, Little Bat Games, Windspiel and Windmillhill Games.

This was the final New Media funding session under the previous funding model of the Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg. A total of €3.8 million has been awarded to 25 games, XR projects and serial formats. These projects were submitted before 22 April 2025.

A total of €2,164,000 is going into ten serial formats, including €1.5 million for Ein Hof zum Verlieben (A Farm to Fall in Love With), produced by Pyjama Pictures. A further €1.1 million is being invested in ten games projects. Project Vanguard, an expansion of Suzerain, and Better Than Us, the next project from Little Bat Games (creators of Vampire Therapist), will receive funding for new games. Bold Beetle Games will receive support for Dung Slinger, which has already been nominated for the Deutscher Entwicklerpreis. Additionally, five XR projects will collectively receive €525,000 in funding, including Atmosphere, an interactive mixed reality experience through which Wim Wenders will make his XR directorial debut.
