Caggtus 2026: Our Impressions
As the games industry magazine for Europe and Germany, we had to visit caggtus. And while the biggest German LAN party is already enough to visit Leipzig, there was a lot more to love about the event than that.
As the games industry magazine for Europe and Germany, we had to visit caggtus. And while the biggest German LAN party is already enough to visit Leipzig, there was a lot more to love about the event than that.

The caggtus LAN saw 2.360 participants this year, a new record. Players could use their own computers or rent some, decorated the whole hall and even slept in dedicated areas. The green tents belong to caggtus ambassador Baso's community (GamesMarkt)

FYNG City was done in cooperation with Samsung Odyssey, the Webedia brands and the Microsoft daughters Activision Blizzard and Bethesda. At the first Blizzard x Bethesda ever, community events for Diablo Immortal were held and Doom: The Dark Ages was playable (GamesMarkt)

At the Indie Ground by Nerdic / Games Ground, also integrated into the FYNG City, indie games from around Germany were shown. Not only were several accelerator and local programs like Next Level: Saxony and Press Start there with studios such as Level Labs and Whispergrove Interactive, but also ByteRockers' as a big indie publisher (GamesMarkt)
