With the Educational Media Awards 2024, SIN - Studio im Netz has honoured not only paedagogic apps, but also a range of titles from the GSA region and one from France. We congratulate Emergo Entertainment, Causa Creations, Microbird, HandyGames, Massive Miniteam and Focus Entertainment for the victory.

On 30 October 2024, the Educational Media Awards (Pädagogischer Medienpreis) were presented for the 27th time in Munich. A total of 15 media products for children and young people were honoured with an Educational Media Award 2024.

With the award, SIN - Studio im Netz honours the ideas of developer studios and provides parents and professionals with a list of recommendations as a guide. The award winners were selected by a jury in which children and young people were also involved in the decision-making process alongside educational professionals.

Unsurprisingly for a GSA youth media award, most awards are going to companies from the GSA region. However, the strong suite of core games awarded bears mentioning. Fireside by Bayreuth studio Emergo was honoured in the category children, while Dungeons of Hinterberg by Microbird and Songs of Travel by Causa Creations, both from Vienna, as well as Oddsparks by HandyGames from Giebelstadt and Massive Miniteam from Pulheim are part of the Young Adult section, together with Chants of Sennaar by Focus Entertainment from France.
