Epic Games is Launching a Separate Indie Section in its Dev Forum
Epic Games continues to position itself as a partner for smaller developers. The Unreal Engine provider has now set up a dedicated section in the official forum: Epic for Indies.
The company had already launched the Epic Developer Community in 2022 to create a place where developers can meet, exchange ideas and learn from each other. At the beginning of the year, further improvements were implemented, including to navigation and performance. Now, the next step is to be taken, as Epic Games itself says in a blog post. In the so-called 'Epic for Indies' section, the community is also being expanded to include an area specifically for smaller teams. These often face different challenges than the dev teams of large studios.
