In its second funding round of the year, Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg's new media funding programme is supporting five games and six XR projects. Almost half of the total 1.5 million Euros in funding will go to the games sector.

In its second funding round of the year, Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg's new media funding programme is supporting 16 projects in the areas of games, XR experiences and serial formats with a total of 1.5 million euros. Almost half of this sum will go to games projects. For example, the puzzle game Projekt Garden (WT) by Trailmix Berlin and the co-op shooter Black Ocean by Point Blank Game Studios will receive 300,000 Euros and 200,000 Euros respectively. In the field of innovative audiovisual content, new projects from AnotherWorld VR, the interactive VR experience Resonanz, and NowHere Media, the location-aware VR experience Dark Rooms (AT/US), are receiving funding.

  • 200,000 Euros in production funding for the roguelike co-op shooter Black Ocean by Point Blank Game Studios
  • 116,000 Euros in production funding for the interactive picture book app TellMe (WT) by Nukuna Interactive
  • 80,000 Euros in development funding for the narrative party game Summer Camp by Telescope Game Studios
  • 39,500 Euros in production funding for the top-down action game Tackle for Loss by Daniel Wichterich
XR and other innovative audio-visual content
  • 90,000 Euros in development funding for Resonanz by anotherworld
  • 80,000 Euros in development funding for Dark Rooms (WT) by NowHere Media Gaedtke & Parameswaran
  • 65.000 Euros development funding for Everybody Dance Now (EDN.Beta) by Tobias Staab and Warja Rybakova
  • 43.700 Euros development funding for Paradise Lost by unafilm
  • 35,000 Euros in development and production funding for The Nama Hut by Herfel+Stracke Film und Medienproduktion
  • 28,000 Euros in development funding for Black Box Mensch VR by xkopp / Krett, Sabeti, Mählmann
