At yesterday's Central & Eastern European Game Awards on Game Industry Conference, Croteam won Best Game for Talos Principle 2 and took home the Design award as well. Amnesty International partnered with the award show to honour Larian and 11 bit for effort and representation of human rights as well. 11 bit took the opportunity and announced more This War of Mine content coming, entirely dedicated to charitable causes.

On Saturday, 26 October 2024, the 7. Annual Central & Eastern European Games Awards took place at Game Industry Conference in Poznan. The award show runs one hour and honours games from the regions in ten categories.

The award for the Best Game of the last year went to Croteam for Talos Principle 2. The studio also got the design award for the game as well.

This year, two of the categories were awarded in cooperation with Amnesty International, who honored two games and the studios for exceptional representation and their endeavours for human rights. Under the category 'Code the Rights, Amnesty and a jury of game developers awarded Best Game 2024 award to Larian Studios for Baldur's Gate 3. An internal jury at Amnesty also awarded the Code the Rights Special Award to This War of Mine by 11 bit studios. The studio was on site in strong numbers, and used the stage appearance for a speech in honour of more engagement for human rights in the game industry. 11 bit also announced that there would be more content in the This War of Mine universe, an official announcement coming for the tenth anniversary of the game on 14 November 2024. The money from the new content will entirely be going to charity, the studio shared.
