Shortly after extending its partnership with Intel, ESL has landed another partnership deal for its Counter-Strike ecosystem. Acer is becoming the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partner of the ESL Pro Tour.

This deal was also announced shortly before the first major tournament of the year, the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Katowice. Acer's Predator product family appeals to gamers and the e-sports community, and the company will be named as an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partner of the Counter-Strike ecosystem of the ESL Faceit Group (EFG). Acer is thus integrated into the entire ESL Pro Tour, including flagship tournaments such as the IEM in Katowice and the IEM Cologne.

"Counter-Strike esports presents a unique opportunity to connect with one of the longest-standing competitive titles and a vast fan base seeking the precision, intensity, and performance that our Predator gaming technology delivers," said Vincent Lin, Associate Vice President Global Product Marketing and Planning at Acer.

This is the second deal for the Counter-Strike ecosystem for EFG in a few days. Just recently, the company announced that the partnership with Intel, which has been running for over two decades, will be extended for several more years. However, the company did not provide a time frame for the current deal with Acer.
