Things are beginning to take shape. The third GG Bavaria will take place in Munich at the end of March 2025, starting with a completely new Business Day. The first participants and studios have also been confirmed.

On 29 and 30 March 2025, GG Bavaria will once again be inviting gaming fans to Munich. After the second edition with more than 5,000 visitors in 2024, GG Bavaria moves to the Kleine Olympiahalle in Munich. This time there will also be a day just for industry professionals (GamesMarkt reported). This business day will be an opportunity to gain new inspiration, exchange ideas and make new contacts. The programme will include talks, networking opportunities and discussions. The Business Day will take place on 28 March from 9:00 in the Business Area of the Olympiahalle.

"With its third edition, GG Bavaria is establishing itself as a permanent fixture in the calendar of gaming fans. The new location allows us to grow even more and to present the entire range of products for gaming communities," says Lina Timm, Managing Director of Medien.Bayern GmbH, to which Games/Bavaria belongs. "With the exclusive new Business Day, we are also offering the industry a new forum for exchange. This is our response to the many requests we have received from indie developers - and it has been made possible by the excellent support of the Bavarian State Ministry for Digital Affairs."

Nementic Games, Emergo Entertainment, Thera Bytes, Irox Games, Spicy Sushi Games, Tistic Games, Wegenbartho Games, Blossom Path Games, Active Fungus Studios, Gentle Troll Entertainment and Christoph Minnameier have already announced their participation. The Technical University of Munich, the Game Innovation Lab of the University of Bayreuth, the SAE Institute Munich and the University of Applied Sciences Kempten will also be present.

"In Bavaria, we have declared 2024 the 'Year of Games' and are investing record amounts in our local games industry. With numerous projects and our location initiative Games/Bavaria, we have given the pixel pioneers in Bavaria the visibility they deserve as an innovative industry of the future. Most recently, with our Gamerei, we have given Bavaria's game developers a real home in the heart of our state capital," said Minister of State Dr Fabian Mehring. "This boost for Bavarian games was recently rewarded when the members of game voted Bavaria the top location for games in Germany. We started on this road to success last year with a brilliant GG Bavaria, which exceeded all expectations and all visitor forecasts. In 2025, we want to seamlessly follow this up and once again go full throttle for Bavaria's gamers. I'm looking forward to GG Bavaria 2025 all the more - let's rock Bavaria together!"

Visitors to GG Bavaria will be able to discover the latest games from Bavaria, find out about esports clubs and take part in tournaments, chat with TCG fans and meet influencers. The Cosplay Catwalk and Artist Alley will also return, with nearly 40 creatives showcasing their work on site this year. GG Bavaria will take place on 29 March from 10:00 to 19:00 and on 30 March from 10:00 to 18:00 at the Kleine Olympiahalle in Munich. Tickets are available from €19.00.

GG Bavaria is a cooperation project between Games/Bavaria and MYI Entertainment. It is funded by the Bavarian State Ministry for Digital Affairs.
