Caggtus 2025 in Leipzig Offers a Varied Programme

The third caggtus will take place from 11 to 13 April 2025, and the LAN party with almost 2,100 participants will start on 10 April 2025. The Entertainment Area is also very varied. Games Ground Berlin is also involved in the Indie Ground.
The Gaming Festival at the Leipziger Messe is approaching. A curated indie line-up, lots of free play options and a Fortnite tournament with streamer Amar and €10,000 in prize money await visitors. On Friday and Sunday, Rocketbeans TV will be on stage at the ASUS ROG booth to play 'RBTV vs. CAGGTUS' with the community.
The Indie Ground is once again an integral part of the Entertainment Area. More than 20 titles can be played here. Among the participants are studios from Saxony such as FusionPlay, Wanderweg Games, Bippinbits, PandaBee Studios, Traveller's Box as well as projects developed at the University of Applied Sciences Mittweida. Indie Ground is organized in cooperation with Games Ground Berlin. Games Ground Berlin co-founder Gianni Sommer said: "It is great that we are able to organize Indie Ground again. In 2024, the response and interest in the exhibited projects was huge. That's why we're looking forward to giving more indie studios, universities and projects the opportunity to present themselves."
The Freeplay Area is located in the heart of the Entertainment Area, and this year there won't be a separate 16+ area. The Leipzig-based company XMG will provide around 40 gaming stations, including couch gaming and sim racing. IT service provider GISA is supporting the Freeplay Area for the second year in a row. There will also be a Retro Area, an FPV Area (VR), and the Dance Area, which will be run by the "Just Dance with Friends" association and where the Just Dance Caggtus champion will be crowned every day. Also new is the Cozy Games Lounge, which will be part of the Cosplay Area and will focus on cozy single-player games. There will also be gaming stations at the booths of ASUS ROG, MSI, Zotac and Memory PC, MAD Gaming and festival partner Samsung, as well as Zetti and Domino's. Content creators taking to the event stage or stream area include DoktorFroid, Benx and AwesomeElina, Mahluna and Mango, Dennsen86, Baso, fisCH0p and SmashLunatic (program).
caggtus 2025 in Leipzig is open from 11:00 to 19:00 on 11 and 12 April and from 11:00 to 18:00 on 13 April (Tickets: Entertainment Area, LAN Area, Business Area). There are only a few seats left in the LAN area. With nearly 2,100 attendees, caggtus is the home of the largest LAN party in the German-speaking world this year.
