Firefighting Simulator: Ignite is set to launch on 9 September 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game is being developed by weltenbauer. Software Entwicklung and is being published by astragon Entertainment.

There is also the Firefighting Simulator: Ignite - Year 1 Edition, which includes the base game and the Year 1 Season Pass. "With the Year 1 Season Pass, players not only save more than 35% compared to purchasing the included DLCs individually but also gain access to exclusive content, such as the Rosenbauer Heros Titan Helmet, available only through the Year 1 Season Pass. Additional content includes the upcoming Cosmetic Pack, two Vehicle Packs, three mission expansions, and one major expansion throughout the Year 1 Season," the publisher explains.

Anyone who wants to try out the game before its official release is invited to take part in a closed beta from 27 to 30 June.
