On May 16 and 17, 2026, the next GameCamp at the University of Bayreuth takes place. GameCamp Bayreuth 2026 will bring together developers, gamers, designers, artists, and anyone interested in the field for an “unconference”, in which anyone can spontaneously hold a talk, collaborate on lectures and workshops or even host a small game jam. The focus is on knowledge exchange, new ideas, and networking within the gaming community.

GameCamp Bayreuth is aimed at beginners as well as industry professionals. The event will take place in the Law and Economics Building (RW I) at the University of Bayreuth. Admission on Saturday begins at 11:00 a.m., with the official start scheduled for 12:00 p.m. A networking event is also planned for Saturday evening. On Sunday, admission begins at 9:00 a.m. and the event starts at 10:00 a.m. Attendance is free, but a ticket reservation is mandatory.
