Around four months before the trade fair, the digital platform for the Cologne event, gamescom biz, is also launching for this year’s edition. Designed as a support tool for trade visitors, the app not only provides digital tickets, but also offers features for interacting with other attendees in advance, thereby helping to prepare for and arrange visits to the fair and meetings.

For the first time, gamescom dev is also bringing together the side events of gamescom on the platform. The integration of gamescom dev in particular is an important step that also reflects the growing convergence of the trade fair and the developer conference. Both events, gamescom and gamescom dev, are also combined this year in terms of ticketing. For the first time, there are 5-day tickets that grant trade visitors access to gamescom dev and gamescom. As a further side event, the gamescom congress is also being integrated into the gamescom biz platform.
