As reported, tickets for gamescom dev are particularly good value this year, as the 5-day tickets are also valid for attending gamescom during the business days. The aim and hope of the organisers of gamescom dev and gamescom is that more developers and trade visitors will attend both events. In terms of price, tickets under the Early Bird offer range from €103 for students or €227 for the Basic option to €1,439 for the VIP ticket.

Studios exhibiting at the indie expo at gamescom dev at the standard price will have to pay slightly more. However, there is the gamescom dev indie competition, which allows a total of 24 indie studios to participate for just €299. The deadline for submissions to the competition has also been extended. Instead of 10 April, the submission deadline is now 30 April. This means that the notification of successful applicants has been postponed. Studios selected for one of the sponsored places will receive notification by 13 May.

Further information and the submission form are available on the gamescom dev website.
