Der E-Tailer Buch.de weist in seinem Neun-Monats-Bericht eine Umsatzsteigerung um 122 Prozent sowie eine Reduzierung der Verluste aus.

Der Münsteraner Online-Händler buch.de internetstores AG hat in den ersten neun Monaten 2001 seinen Umsatz um 122 Prozent auf 7,6 Mio. Euro gesteigert (Vorjahr: 3,4 Mio. Euro). Das operative Ergebnis lag nach eigenen Angaben bei minus 3,5 Mio. Euro; im Vergleichszeitraum des Vorjahres machte Buch.de noch 4,8 Mio. Euro Verlust. Der E-Tailer erwartet "ein normales Weihnachtsgeschäft" und damit die Voraussetzung für das Erreichen des geplanten Umsatzzieles von 13,2 Mio. Euro bei einem Verlust von 4,1 Mio. Euro. Buch.de hält nach wie vor an dem Ziel fest, 2002 den Breakeven zu erreichen.
