Den europaweit ersten Gesamtkatalog eines Internethändlers hat nun PrimusOnline.de vorgestellt.

PrimusOnline.de, Tochter der Metro AG, vermarktet ihr Angebot als europaweit erster Onlinehändler mit einem Gesamtkatalog. Das Sortiment des Handelsunternehmens umfasst unter anderem Videos, DVDs, Bücher, Computer, Musik-CDs, Software und Unterhaltungselektronik. Der Gesamtkatalog ist nach Angaben von PrimusOnline "die natürliche Fortentwicklung der Multichannel-Strategie". Seit Anfang 2000 versucht der ehemals reine Internethändler seinen Vertrieb auf alle Kanäle des Versandhandels zu erweitern. Rund 35 Prozent seiner Umsätze erwirtschaftet PrimusOnline derzeit außerhalb des Internets.
