Taipei Game Show 2025 Draws Record 370,000 Visitors in Four Days
With almost 370,000 visitors according to its own figures, the Taipei Game Show has set a new record and also exceeded the total number of visitors to gamescom 2024. However, comparing the B2B success, almost 18 times as many trade visitors travelled to Cologne that to Taipei.
The Taipei Game Show 2025 concluded with a record-breaking attendance of nearly 370,000 visitors over its four-day run, marking a significant milestone in the event’s history. The number of visitors reported by the organisers also makes the Taipei Game Show one of the most popular games fairs in the world. The next edition is already scheduled to take place from January 29 to February 1, 2026.
The B2B Zone hosted over 1,800 business visitors from 43 countries, fostering nearly 2,000 meetings. In terms of trade visitors, the Taipei Game Show 2025 is significantly smaller than, for example, gamescom, which welcomed over 32,000 trade visitors in 2024.
On the show floor, more than 350 games were showcased, ranging from upcoming blockbusters to indie games, as the organisers report. Highlights included titles such as Dynasty Warriors: Origins and Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, as well as live music performances, tournaments, and interactive experiences. National pavilions from countries like Korea and the Czech Republic offered attendees a chance to explore international gaming cultures.
