GamesMarket: Mundi, give us an introduction to yourself. Where do you come from, what do you do, and how did you end up with your own company in Berlin?

Mundi Vondi: Like the other co-founders, I’m from Iceland. I started my career in advertising and commercial graphic design at agencies. I studied graphic design at the Icelandic Academy of the Arts, but I was always doing art on the side—painting and performance art. That grew over time, and I also started a fashion brand and made short films. I built a name for myself in Iceland and abroad as a multidisciplinary artist.

Another thing I’ve always done is create riddles and mazes, something I’ve loved since childhood. I always dreamed of making computer games. When I met my co-founders in Iceland, we all shared the desire to build a game. The idea formed through discussions between the three of us. At the time, I was still doing many other projects, but over the years, as we kept developing the concept of Seed, it became more concrete. Eventually, we got excited enough to take the leap, uproot everything, and move to Berlin.
