Most Winners of the Nordic Game Awards 2025 Come From Sweden

The Nordic Game 2025 organisers concluded the event with the presentation of the Nordic Game Awards. Five of the eight prizes went to Sweden, two to Norway, and one to Denmark. The big winner was Machinegames.
The closing highlight of Nordic Game 2025 was the presentation of the 17th annual Nordic Game Awards. Matilda Smedius, a voice actress and streamer best known for voicing Brigitte in Overwatch, hosted the ceremony. She also moderated the events on the conference's main stage. This year's awards ceremony showcased the region's studios and their releases over the past year. The 2025 Nordic Game Awards were presented by Nordic Game in association with AMD and PR Nordic.
The night's big winner was Indiana Jones and the Great Circle by Machinegames (Sweden). The title won the main prize, 'Nordic Game of the Year', beating Helldivers 2, Satisfactory, Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley, Finnish Cottage Simulator and Skald: Against the Black Priory. Machinegames' action-adventure game also took home the Best Audio award. The Holy Gosh Darn by Perfectly from Paranormal (Norway) won the award for Best Game on a Small Screen. Mouthwashing by Wrong Organ (Sweden) was honoured for Best Debut.

The Nordic Game Awards are organised by the Nordic Game Institute in cooperation with Nordic Game Resources and the Nordic Game event team. The Nordic Game Institute consists of the following game producer associations in the region Dataspelsbranschen (SE), Icelandic Gaming Industry (IS), Neogames (FI), Spillprodusentforeningen (NO) and Producentforeningen (DK). This year's awards jury consists of Jonne Taivassalo representing Finland (Espoo Game LAB), Evelina Ferbrache representing Sweden (Sverok), Lau Eskildsen representing Denmark (Arkaden), Guðjón Leó Guðmundsson representing Iceland (Bunkhouse Games) and Andreas Gjøsæther Jensen representing Norway (Gamer.no).
