The Paris Game Biz 2026 Publishers’ Guidelines are now available to studios applying to the event. Studios can apply through 14 September, 2026. Selection is based on two criteria: the quality and potential of the project, assessed by a jury of industry professionals, and its fit with the criteria sought by the publishers and investors attending, as detailed in the Publishers’ Guidelines sent to each applicant.

The Publisher Guidelines are made from a survey among the participating publishers. Currently confirmed companies are Arte, Coffee Stain, Dear Villagers, Dotemu, Feardemic, Fireshine Games, Firesquid, Focus Entertainment, FunDay Games, Gamevestor, Goblinz Publishing, Kepler Interactive, Knights Peak/My.Games, Krafton, Kwalee, Nacon/Cyanide, Oro Interactive, Playside, Playstack, Raw Fury, Secret Mode, Smilegate, Tencent and Twin Sails Interactive.

The document summarizes their editorial criteria: sought-after genres, preferred stages of development, business models, and target platforms. The organisers say it serves a dual purpose: "Before submitting an application, it allows studios to refine their project and ensure it aligns with the expectations of the publishers and investors attending. After selection, it serves as a preparation guide to help studios make the most of each meeting during the two-day event."

Including a GamesMarket-Contributed French Market Portrait

Additionally, for this third edition of the guidelines, the document has been fitted with a contribution from GamesMarket about the French market. Applicant studios receive a dedicated analysis of one of Europe's biggest markets, drawn from GamesMarket’s series of European market profiles and supported by official data from SELL. It provides insight for international studios and industry players discovering the French ecosystem, and serves as a reminder of market dynamics for those already active in it.

“In a climate where publishers are getting involved later and later, and in an increasingly selective manner, giving studios a direct read on what the publishers and investors attending Paris Game Biz are looking for is not a luxury; it’s a necessity.” explains David Rabineau, president of Capital Games.

Paris Game Biz takes place 20-21 October at Espace Cléry, Paris.
