IGDA Announces Three New Board Directors

Tiziano Giardini, Jennifer Estaris and Dr. Pedro Zambon are joining the Board of Directors of the International Game Developers Association (IGDA). In addition, as expected, four members are stepping down from the board.
The International Game Developers Association (IGDA) welcomes three new members to its Board of Directors. Tiziano Giardini, Jennifer Estaris and Dr. Pedro Zambon. "We're thrilled to welcome Tiziano, Jennifer, and Pedro to the IGDA Board," said Dr. Jakin Vela, Executive Director of the IGDA. "Each of them brings an inspiring commitment to equity, innovation, and global collaboration. Their combined expertise will help us build a stronger, more inclusive future for game developers worldwide." The Board is the IGDA's governing body.
Tiziano Giardini is a games ecosystem strategist. He co-founded IGDA Italy with a group of volunteers in Turin. At 34BigThings, one of Italy's leading game studios (part of the Embracer Group since November 2020), he works between production and business development and runs Quickload, a studio accelerator for early-stage teams. Jennifer Estaris is the game director of Monument Valley 3, Monument Valley 2's The Lost Forest and Subway Surfers, and a passionate advocate for climate-smart game development. She has a background in narrative and design. Dr. Pedro Zambon is a researcher, industry consultant and advocate for the sustainable growth of game development ecosystems in Latin America and the Global South. He is co-founder and vice chair of the IGDA Incubation & Acceleration Special Interest Group and founder of Savegame.dev, an initiative focused on policy design, incubation strategies and empowerment of local game communities.
In addition to these new board members, the IGDA bids farewell to Margaret Krohn, Natasha Skult, Rami Ismail and Guy Blomberg. All have completed their terms and contributed to the IGDA's efforts to expand its global support initiatives, mentoring experience and event presence.
