VaultN and GOG to Expand Their Joint Solution
One year into their partnership, VaultN and GOG have drawn a positive initial conclusion from their collaboration. They are now looking to offer the joint solution to other GOG publishing partners and to retailers outside of Europe.
The first year was a resounding success. In August 2023, VaultN and GOG entered into a strategic partnership (in German). By using VaultN's technology, the games of selected partners from GOG.com's publisher portfolio could also be sold through third-party retailers since 2024. And this seems to have resulted in a win-win situation for all parties. According to the partners, the publishers saw an increase in sales. Affiliated retailers have benefited from a wider range of products, and GOG.com has gained new customers. Players have also benefited, as they have been able to take advantage of special offers on their favourite gaming platforms while activating their games immediately using their existing GOG account.
