Polish developer Triple Espresso wants to expand the scope of its football tycoon game Copa City with a Kickstarter campaign. At the same time, the release date was announced for March 2026.

According to the company, the development of Copy City is fully financed. As Triple Espresso also announced at the start of the Kickstarter campaign, the football tycoon game is scheduled for release on 26 March 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X.

With the Kickstarter campaign, the Polish developer simply wants to give the community the chance to help bring additional features, future content and ambitious ideas to fruition.

"It offers something unique – a chance for fans of the featured clubs to bring their passion to the game itself. Whether through personalised content, community-oriented ideas or special representations of their club culture in the game," said Jakub Szumielewicz, CEO of Triple Espresso. "Copa City gives fans the opportunity to help shape how their favourite teams are brought to life beyond the pitch."

The launch of the Kickstarter campaign was somewhat bumpy and accompanied by technical problems. The original campaign had to be stopped and will be reactivated shortly at the following link.
