Sega hat weitere Details zum Neuaufbau eines eigenen europäischen Publishingnetzwerks bekannt gegeben: Ein Büro in Deutschland scheint vorerst nicht geplant.

Nach eigenen Angaben schreitet Segas Neuaufbau eines eigenen europäischen Publishingnetzwerks weiter voran. Vorerst soll es jedoch nur zwei eigene Publishingbüros geben. Neben dem bereits existierenden Büro in Chiswick, London, das gleichzeitig auch als europäisches Headquarter dient, ist ein Office in Paris geplant. Das Pariser Büro soll das Publishing im französischen Markt unterstützen. Ein eigenständiges Büro in Deutschland scheint damit vorerst vom Tisch. Laut Sega Europe arbeite man derzeit an weiteren Vertragsabschlüssen, die den Vertrieb in den noch verbliebenden PAL-Ländern, darunter auch Australien und Neuseeland, regeln. In Deutschland werden die Sega-Produkte von Infogrames vertrieben.
