Today marks the first Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase took place following the launch of the Switch 2. Capcom unveiled Monster Hunter Stories 3; Bandai Namco presented Once Upon A Katamari; Square Enix showed off The Adventures of Elliot, as well as Octopath Traveler 0; and EA revealed Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted.

Highlights of today's Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase announcements include the reveal of Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection from Capcom, which will be released in 2026 for Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe announced Once Upon a Katamari. After 14 years, a new part of the Katamari series will be released on 24 October 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (via Steam) and Nintendo Switch. Borderlands 4 will be released on 3 October for the Nintendo Switch 2; it will be released on the other platforms on 12 September 2025. Square Enix will also release a Nintendo Switch 2 edition of Final Fantasy Tactics - The Ivalice Chronicles and has announced Octopath Traveler 0, as well as The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, the first HD-2D action-adventure RPG. Sega will also release Yakuza Kiwami 2 and Yakuza Kiwami on Switch 2. Electronic Arts presented EA Sports Madden NFL 26, EA Sports FC 26 and Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted. The latter will be released on 23 October 2025 for Switch/Switch 2, PC, PS4/PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
