"Friendly Fire" expected to break ten million euro fundraising barrier
According to preliminary estimates by the organisers, the Friendly Fire 9 charity stream will have raised more than 1.35 million euros for charity over the first weekend of December. Over ten million euros have been raised since the start of the format, which will celebrate its tenth anniversary in 2024.
The ninth Friendly Fire charity stream took place on 2 December, and one thing is for sure: Friendly Fire 9 broke the €1 million mark. The content creators involved, including once again Eric "Gronkh" Range and the crew of Piet Smiet, on whose Twitch channels Friendly Fire is alternately broadcast, were able to celebrate this milestone during the stream using the donation counter. The actual amount raised will be much higher, however, as the proceeds from the sale of merchandising items will also be added to the total.
