Der Gewinner des von der Deutschen Telekom ausgerichteten Magenta eTrophy erhält 1000 Euro Preisgeld und spielt gegen einen Pro-Gamer von SK Gaming in "FIFA 19", "Clash Royale" oder "League of Legends".

Auf der gamescom finden viele eSport-Matches ihr Finale. Die Deutsche Telekom richtet ein weiteres aus in Form der Magenta eTrophy. Am gamescom-Samstag zocken die Finalisten in Halle 11.3 vor rund 1500 Zuschauern das Magenta eTrophy Finale. Im Mittelpunkt des Wettbewerbs stehen die Spiele "FIFA 19", "Clash Royale" und "League of Legends". Den finalen Gewinnern in ihrer Kategorie winkt ein Preisgeld von 1000 Euro und obendrein ein Live-Showmatch gegen einen Pro-Gamer von SK Gaming direkt auf der gamescom . Das Finale wird nach der Veranstaltung auf der Magenta Virtual Reality App der Telekom im 360-Grad-Video gezeigt. Auf der Veranstaltung selbst präsentiert die Telekom auch ihre neuen Dienstleistungen, darunter Cloud-Gaming und die StreamOn-Gaming-Option.
