According to the publisher, the blood donations from the Blood4Bloodlord campaign could save up to 2,000 lives. The 700 people took part in the campaign, which was carried out in the USA, Germany, Brazil, France, Poland and other countries. As a thank you, participants received a Steam version of the game, which went into early access on 30 January.

The action RPG Vampires: Bloodlord Rising is being developed by Mehuman Games, based in Katowice, Poland, and marketed by the German-Austrian publisher Toplitz Productions.
